We helped Kellogg’s and Walmart team up with Scholastic to provide the students and families of Dalton Elementary School in Aurora, CO a Family Reading Night. Parents participated in a workshop to help them learn strategies to make reading a habit at home. Kellogg’s provided healthy snacks and a Reading Certificate which enabled every student to select a book off of the Book Fair regardless of their socioeconomic condition.
Wallmart brought an army of local store associates that volunteered at the event by reading to kids and helping kids build a book from scratch.
This wonderful partnership was awarded the prestigious Silver Halo Award at the 2014 Cause Marketing Forum in Chicago.
